3sixteen's Classic Cardigan is exactly how it sounds – a classic cardigan (duh) – but its also a little more than meets the eye. Keeping the silhouette traditional and clean, the Classic Cardigan is special for the notably rare yarns from which its knit.
This season, 3sixteen opted to knit these sweaters from a Suri alpaca/wool blend yarn. Suri alpacas produce a yarn that is light, airy, and long, giving the sweater a hairy and textured appearance. Suri alpacas make up only 10% of the worldwide alpaca population and are prized for their lustrous and long coats. The sweater is finished with front raglan shoulder detailing, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a simple collar.
