Buy NowAbbeyhorn deer bone for the use on shell cordovan Helps iron out ripples to smooth and polish Ideal for maintaining shell cordovan footwear Crucial in the process of caring for shell cordovan Horween Shell Cordovan is highly sought after and will last a lifetime if cared for correctly.
Due to the structural nature of cordovan as a material, when worn it doesn't crease or crack over time like normal leather would but is more likely to form ripples. That's where the Abbeyhorn deer bone comes in. The bone is used to firmly press down on the cordovan surface, then forward motion helps iron out ripples to smooth and polish the top layer.
This is a crucial process when caring for cordovan with regards to lifetime maintenance and retaining its unique, overall smooth and shiny appearance - without damaging the surface. Can be used for everyday maintenance or as part of a pre-clean preparation routine.
