Buy NowIn 1983, Baskin-Robbins introduced Preppy Mint, a novelty flavor inspired by the preppy movement sweeping American campuses, country clubs, and summer destinations alike. Displayed in stores as part of the flavor's promotional campaign, this poster brings together the era's most recognizable preppy motifs – from plaid shorts and tennis racquets to monogrammed luggage, boat shoes, and duck decoys.
For many, Baskin-Robbins was a fixture of summer – an after-dinner stop, a reward after Little League, or a family outing on a warm evening. More than forty years later, this poster recalls the simple pleasure of a trip to Baskin-Robbins, a childhood favorite for generations of Americans.
