Alden has been producing Made in USA footwear for well over a century now. An icon of American footwear, Alden was founded in 1884 by Charles H Alden in Massachusetts and remains there to this day. Inspiration for the 46050 comes from vintage 1940's Military style boots, similar in style to the famous Boondocker boots of the US Army.
Made for us here at Clutch Cafe, the 46050 features a fully goodyear welted natural 'plantation' crepe sole finished with a brass-tacked leather toe portion. A versatile and beautifully constructed boot that will be sure to last a lifetime, getting better with age. The 46050 is built on Alden's Military 379X Last with a D width fitting and also features a plain round toe & eyelets as well as a mahogany storm welt while a dual branded insole completes the look.
The Military 379 X Last last tends to run large so we suggest taking a half or full size down from your usual shoe size. It is very similar in profile to the Barrie Last, just with a slightly narrower heel. For further information on sizing and fitting please visit our footwear size guide or drop us an email on info@clutch-cafe.
