Each pen is carved by hand, resulting in slight variations from animal pen to animal pen. Make everyday writing tasks fun with an animal looking back at you while you write. Which animal will you choose: white tiger, bird, flamingo, pelican, horse, owl, wolf or eagle?
The small bird depicted on this pen is a Mejiro メジロ, or Japanese White-Eye. The mejiro bird is native to Japan and has appeared in Japanese art over the years.
