Artisans dye the pieces using a simple, elemental process that exhibits variation in color and finish. These dyes are raw and unstable, so expect color to transfer to lighter garments or materials until they are washed and become more stable. This ensures each piece is unique and likely to acquire a striking patina over time, evolving with the wearer.

amachi. is designed with a standard fit in a limited size range. We have converted the tagged 4/S, 5/M, 6/L to relatable Actual Waist size. We suggest taking your Actual Waist Measurement (Body/Belt), or the next size up. Twills and canvas cloths will not stretch considerably, so size initially to an ideal fit.
