Buy NowPractical roots, polished presence.
Taking cues from sophisticated, practical pieces made for sport, the Harrington in beloved Ventile® caters to unpredictable weather days. Lined in 100% cotton plaid Typewriter cloth, a dense but lightweight woven poplin, this jacket will be comfortable on its own throughout multiple seasons.
All the slick details are considered. The collar is structured enough to stand up with a tasteful, traditional stand and 2-button closure. We even liked it turned down, reminiscent of lapels on a tailored jacket. The geometric shoulder construction is as clean as can be, fitting in for many occasions.
Front and internal pockets are finished clean and lined for easy entry while back tab adjusters provide a variable width in the body. In a shorter length with a straight hemline, the jacket's shape is honest and approachable.
Ventile® is made from natural fibers, not synthetic. Tightly woven with a dense structure, it will always maintain its weatherproof properties. When Ventile® is wet, the cotton fibers swell, blocking out any moisture from seeping in. The Harrington is going to get better with age – softening and becoming more portable, even – with no effective loss. Function is built into the garment.
Smart enough for business casual days and honest enough for tees and denim, this timeless garment was proudly produced in Boston at a modern manufacturing facility known for its sophisticated premium outerwear.
