Anatomica x Wakouwa Canvas Derby Cap Toe Sneaker Black

About this product

Redefining classic Americana style through both their European and Japanese lenses, Anatomica meticulously adapt styles, production & function to create clothing designed for regular wear with optimised fit. Wakouwa is a sub-label of Anatomica that pays homage to sailing culture, anchored on various renditions of vintage US navy gym shoes.

These are assembled on an original last, made by disassembling about 10 pairs of vintage shoes, as well as original examples. To achieve this special arch support was added for good measure, while the remainder of the deck shoes are cut from an American-made canvas upper and vulcanized rubber sole, made using aluminium lasts.

A new style from Wakouwa, this Derby Cap Toe is inspired by vintage sneakers made for court sports, that were later popularised for leisure wear. A supremely comfortable sneaker that moulds to the wearer over time. For further information on sizing and fitting please visit our footwear size guide or drop us an email on info@clutch-cafe.
