Buy NowThe Wearmasters Zig-Zag Short-Sleeve Shirt is a refined summer shirt built around a stylized monochrome coil motif – a graphic language that captures the quiet charm of mid-century American design. The result is a piece that feels equally at home paired with denim or worn open over a T-shirt as a relaxed, atmospheric layer.
The fabric is a 100% filament rayon – smooth, supple, and lightweight, with the fluid drape and gentle sheen that defined vintage rayon shirts of the era. The relaxed box-shaped silhouette enhances that vintage character, sitting easily on the body with generous room through the chest, shoulders, and sleeves.
Construction reflects the era's refined details throughout. The shirt features high-gauge chain stitching with double-needle construction at 4.8mm width – a period-correct vintage technique that requires slow, careful sewing to execute properly. Finished with shell buttons at the front placket, the shirt delivers the kind of understated vintage refinement that separates a genuinely considered garment from a simple reproduction.
The open camp collar and short-sleeve construction complete a piece designed for warm days – a quiet, well-made shirt that pairs effortlessly across styling.
Fit Notes: This shirt runs small. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for the intended relaxed, boxy fit. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting shirt to find the perfect fit.
