The AVI-8 CVRT 3775A (pronounced 'covert') is a compact, purpose-built tool watch created for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts, who value precision and everyday versatility. Designed to merge elements of field, pilot, and dive functionality, it focuses on performance essentials, delivering a mechanical instrument built for clarity, comfort, and reliability.
Key features include a hard-coated stainless-steel case, flat sapphire crystal, and 100 meters of water resistance. The matte-black dial emphasizes legibility with raised C3 Super-LumiNova numerals, tapered batons, and a chapter ring calibrated to 1/5th of a second. A discreet date window sits between four and five o’clock, while minimal branding and well-proportioned luminous hands keep the display clean and highly readable.
The CVRT’s design is defined by purposeful geometry and compact dimensions. Measuring 37. 75mm in diameter, 46mm lug-to-lug, and 11mm thick, it maintains a balanced wrist presence. A conical mid-case reduces visual height, angular lugs enhance stability, and a two-piece knurled 'bumper' bezel adds grip and protection.
A four o’clock crown completes the ergonomic layout. Two straps are included: a matte-black fitted rubber strap for a seamless modern look and a ribbed nylon mil-strap for breathable, field-ready versatility. Powering the watch is the Miyota 9015 automatic movement, a reliable 24-jewel caliber offering hacking seconds, quick-set date, and a 42-hour power reserve, protected beneath a solid steel case back.
