The BENRUS Type I M1 revives one of the most iconic American military dive watches of the 20th century, now upgraded with Swiss automatic precision and premium finishing. Faithful to its original combat-ready spirit, the modern Type I M1 enhances legibility, durability, and functionality in a form that remains unmistakably mission-first.
The 41. 5mm sandblasted 316L stainless steel case features polished bevels for a subtle touch of contrast, while the double-domed sapphire crystal with dual AR coating provides clarity from any angle. The uni-directional bezel is executed in circular-brushed steel with a ceramic inner ring, echoing classic tool watch design while boosting surface durability.
The champagne dialBW G9 Super-LumiNova on the markers and hands ensures visibility in low light – a nod to its military heritage. Under the hood is the Swiss-made ETA 2892 automatic movement, delivering smooth winding, hacking seconds, and a 42-hour power reserve. Finished with an exhibition caseback, 200 meters of water resistance, and a fabric strap with pin buckle, the Type I M1 delivers the authenticity of a mil-spec diver with the refinement expected in modern mechanical watchmaking.
