The Big John MGTS01M 'Magnum Weight' Heavyweight T-Shirt is the heaviest jersey T-shirt in Big John's lineup – designed for those who appreciate substance, structure, and the long-term character that comes from premium materials.
The fabric is knit in Wakayama, Japan – a region world-renowned for its jersey fabric production. By knitting thick yarn at high density, the resulting cotton jersey delivers a firm, sturdy hand feel with exceptional texture and presence. The dense construction creates a dry, weighty surface that feels closer to sweatshirt fabric than a standard tee, while remaining breathable and comfortable for daily wear.
Like a pair of raw jeans, the fabric ages beautifully with repeated wear and washing, developing its own subtle patina, texture, and character over time. Each wash brings out more of the fabric's underlying structure, rewarding long-term use.
The silhouette is a regular fit – neither overly slim nor oversized – with a ribbed collar for clean, durable shape retention. A Big John woven label completes the design.
This T-shirt embodies the pride of Made in Japan, brought to life through the delicate, skilled craftsmanship of Wakayama's finest knit producers.
Fit Notes: This T-shirt runs small. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As a reference, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting T-shirt to ensure the right fit.
