The fabric is a carefully engineered 15.8oz selvedge denim, built using a unique blend of five organic cottons sourced globally – each selected for its specific qualities of strength, softness, and structure. Turkish organic cotton from Europe delivers smooth, strong, and lustrous fibers; Peruvian Aspero cotton from South America contributes thickness, durability, and moisture absorption; American Supima cotton from Texas adds extra-long staple length and a silky hand feel; Indian organic cotton brings fine, soft fibers rich in natural oils; and Tanzanian organic cotton from Africa provides moderately stiff, full-bodied structure. A further 5% OCS-certified recycled organic cotton is added for subtle irregularity and vintage texture – the kind of quiet character that only develops through considered blending.

The yarn is rope-dyed by Sakamoto Denim using 100% natural indigo, undergoing 16 dyeing cycles to achieve a rich, nuanced blue tone with exceptional depth. This slow, layered dyeing process delivers superior fading potential, allowing the jeans to develop beautifully personalized wear patterns with time.

The cloth is woven slowly on vintage shuttle looms at Shinya Co., producing a clean surface with controlled vertical texture – a fabric that strikes the balance between expressiveness and versatility.
