As a core part of the uniform during wartime, these undershirts required durable fabrics and robust construction in order to hold up to frequent wear and washing, while also needing to be comfortable. These t-shirts are knitted from 20-count combed cotton yarns on vintage loopwheel machines, and constructed with double-needle stitched seams and a double-bound collar. It comes in a printed paper sleeve that evokes the style of the original government-issued gear.
