Buy NowThe Buzz Rickson's BR40025 Original Spec. Chinos are a high-quality reproduction inspired by various military chino models from the 1940s to the 1960s. Built for durability and designed to age beautifully, these trousers bridge vintage military heritage and modern everyday wear.
The fabric is a heavyweight 100% cotton chino drill – stiff and sturdy at first, but softening considerably with wear and washing. Over time, the fabric develops a natural patina and character that rewards long-term use, much like raw denim.
Construction follows military specifications throughout. The trousers feature double felled seams for enhanced durability, narrow double-welt back pockets, a coin pocket, and double-needle wrap fold stitching at key stress points. A brass Talon zipper fly and a military-spec urea button at the waistband complete the period-correct details, while cotton drill pocket linings reinforce the garment's commitment to authentic materials.
While rooted in classic military proportions, Buzz Rickson's has refined the silhouette with a slim straight leg and a mid-high rise – tapered enough for contemporary styling but relaxed enough for all-day comfort. A versatile piece that pairs equally well with boots or sneakers, dressed up or down.
Fit Notes: These chinos run small. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As a reference, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting trousers to ensure the right fit.
