Questions about fit? Email us at contact@caswellboots. com. A NOTE ON LEATHER Kudu is a natural, open-grained leather. Scars, marks, and variation across the hide are inherent to the material and expected in every pair. CARE Kudu has an open grain that behaves similarly to suede and requires different care than smooth leathers.
Cleaning: Use a soft horsehair or suede brush to lift dirt from the surface. Avoid soaking with water or liquid cleaners where possible – if wet, allow to dry naturally away from heat and brush once dry. Conditioning: Apply a suede or nubuck conditioner sparingly. Avoid heavy waxes or creams, which can clog the open grain and alter the texture permanently.
Protection: A water-repellent suede spray applied before first wear will help protect the leather without significantly changing its appearance. Storage: Use shoe trees and store away from direct sunlight.
