Buy NowI purchased this beautiful jacket two years ago and I love it. Living in New York where the winters can get quite frigid I feel as warm as can be with this jacket. I don’t feel any cold whatsoever. The jacket is extremely durable and very well made. It is worth every penny and easily the best jacket I’ve ever owned, and I plan on getting another jacket one day.
People compliment me on the jacket all the time about how nice looking it is. To think this jacket was originally made for plane crews fighting in World War II, which ended 76 years ago, and to think how stylish it looks for today. I love it. Thank you, Cockpit USA. Keep up the good work.
- Rob Weingartner. Based on the 1938 Irvin Airchute Co. pattern, the British Royal Air Force RAF sheepskin bomber flight jacket represents the epitome of English heroism during WWII. Worn over London skies by English fighter pilots flying Spitfire and Hurricane fighters in air battles against Nazi forces, the RAF flight jacket provided the warmth and freedom of movement needed during combat.
You will love the fit and feel of the Cockpit USA RAF bomber jacket. Please note that the shearling on this men's RAF aviator jacket is tanned to 'antique' as you wear it, giving 'highs and lows' in the color so it looks as if you had the RAF sheepskin bomber jacket since WWII. This will not affect the durability of this product.
Sheepskin varies from production to production but you'll always receive the same craftsmanship and warmth from Cockpit USA. Not sure which size to get?
