Buy NowThe MaxMadCo Design Ultem Bolt Action Pen – Gen 2 combines a legendary bolt-action design with the unique properties of ULTEM® (polyetherimide) – a high-performance polymer known for its strength, heat resistance, and semi-transparent amber glow. Based on a concept first imagined over 25 years ago and refined with direct input from its original creator, this Gen 2 version introduces a redesigned three-groove channel for ultra-secure bolt action, along with a reinforced clip and oversized bolt for enhanced usability in any condition.
Machined from solid Ultem rod stock, this pen is lightweight yet incredibly durable, making it ideal for everyday carry without weighing you down. The natural transparency of Ultem gives this piece a modern, technical look, while the sterile design and clean lines keep it understated.
With no logos on the body and no unnecessary distractions, the Gen 2 Ultem Bolt Action Pen is built for pure function – and it looks even better under UV light. Inside, you’ll find a Schmidt 9000M German-made refill, providing smooth writing out of the box. It’s also compatible with any Parker-style G2 refill for easy customization.
Whether you’re jotting notes, sketching ideas, or adding it to your EDC rotation, this pen offers precision, durability, and timeless bolt-action satisfaction in a material unlike anything else.
