Dehen1920 Crissman Overshirt Fig Wool

About this product

A now-established Dehen staple and one of our most successful core offerings, Dehen's Crissman Overshirt exemplifies the brand's quality and craftsmanship, highlighting the ethos upon which they have built their reputation, while showcasing the very best that an overshirt has to offer. Available in an ever-growing multitude of fabric options, Dehen's Crissman offers a relaxed cut so layers can be worn underneath, featuring two chest pockets, reinforced elbows, handwarmer pockets, horn buttons, a brass neck snap, and a cotton twill partial lined interior. Perhaps the most versatile shirt in our collection, the Crissman is an ideal overshirt that can be worn as both a shirt or jacket, depending on your climate, preference, and chosen size.

This Crissman is crafted from a heavyweight 18oz melton wool, woven by the incredible Abraham Moon & Sons mill in the U.K. Despite its substantial weight, this wool has a soft hand with a traditional wooly texture and offers an incredible depth of colour, with a deep burgundy base and a blend of complimentary light and dark browns, and even a little bit of purple.

Abraham Moon is one of the very few and very rare vertical mills remaining in the U.K., with over 185 years of woolen expertise. The vertical nature of their mill allows them to oversee all processes on site, reducing the need to move wool and yarn across the countryside, improving quality and consistency while simultaneously lessening the environmental impact of their manufacturing. Abraham Moon's storied history has left them with some incredible in-house weaving techniques and secret dye processes, which keeps Moon fabrics in a world-class tier of craftsmanship, all to their own.
