Buy NowThe Deluxeware DLW-005 Leather Wallet is a compact threefold design crafted entirely in Japan from premium horsehide leather. The hide is processed using pit tanning – a slow, traditional vegetable tanning method where hides are gradually immersed in tanning liquor over an extended period, producing leather with exceptional density, depth of color, and aging potential.
The camel tone showcases the natural warmth of the horsehide, developing a rich patina with daily use as the surface absorbs oils from the hands and darkens over time. The leather gains character and depth the more it is handled – rewarding years of carry with a finish that is entirely unique to each owner.
Details reflect Deluxeware's commitment to quality hardware and craftsmanship. The wallet features a Waldes zipper – a historically significant American-made zipper brand – and an original Deluxeware concho snap on the front flap closure. The construction is handled in Chikuma, Nagano, with clean, precise stitching throughout.
At just 100 × 77 mm, the wallet is designed for efficient, pocket-friendly everyday carry without sacrificing functionality.
