Buy NowThe Deluxeware SDTS-00 10.5oz T-Shirt is a premium essential that reflects the brand's commitment to durability and vintage-inspired construction. Built to last and designed to develop character over time, it embodies Deluxeware's philosophy of heritage quality meets everyday functionality.
The fabric is a 10.5oz loopwheel-knitted cotton jersey, produced on vintage loopwheel machines in Wakayama. These machines produce only 10 meters of fabric per day – enough for approximately 8 garments – making the process extraordinarily inefficient by modern standards, but resulting in a texture and hand feel that modern equipment simply cannot replicate. The slow, low-tension knitting produces a dense, tubular body with no side seams, offering superior comfort, natural elasticity, and long-term shape retention.
Far removed from the lightweight disposability of modern basics, this is a T-shirt built with the same mentality as vintage workwear: wear it hard, and let it age.
The cut is a classic crewneck with a balanced silhouette that works equally well as a standalone piece or layered under shirts and jackets. Construction is handled in Odate, Akita, using a 1960s Union Special triple-needle machine, ensuring robust seam strength and authentic vintage-style stitch definition throughout.
Fit Notes: Deluxeware tees run smaller than standard American sizes. If you usually wear a size M in American t-shirts, you’ll likely need a size L in these. In addition, Deluxeware always offers USM and USL sizes, which are larger than XL and feature a more regular, less tailored cut. For the best fit, we always recommend checking the size chart before choosing your size.
