The Denime Lot 220XX-S pays tribute to the rugged spirit of wartime denim - a faithful reproduction of the WWII model jeans that defined the era of utility and restraint. Every detail, from the fabric to the hardware, honors the resourceful craftsmanship of the 1940s. At its core is a specially developed 6.
7×6. 7 Kurabo selvedge denim, woven from a brown cotton blend that recreates the coarse, uneven yarns typical of the period. This 14. 7oz unwashed indigo denim embodies the texture and tension of true wartime cloth - slightly irregular, rich in character, and built to age beautifully.
True to the WWII originals, the design features simplified details born from material shortages: unbranded hardware, minimal stitching, and a clean, utilitarian silhouette. The fabric’s deep indigo tone will fade dramatically with wear, revealing the depth of the brown cotton undertone and the irregular slub of its shuttle-loom weave.
