Buy NowThe Double Helix 'The Boxer Beige' is a refined interpretation of a classic silhouette, inspired by the iconic jacket worn in the film Rocky. Clean, minimal, and timeless, it captures the understated elegance of vintage sportswear while elevating it through premium materials and Japanese craftsmanship.
Crafted from 0.8mm French horsehide suede, the leather offers a uniquely soft yet structured feel. Despite its lightweight nature, the dense fiber structure of horsehide provides durability and a subtle, luxurious luster. Over time, the suede develops a rich, evolving patina, with tonal variations that give each jacket a distinct character.
The interior is lined with 100% cupro, ensuring a smooth, breathable, and comfortable wearing experience. Finished with laurel buttons, the design remains clean and balanced, allowing the material and silhouette to take center stage.
The fit is slim and tailored, offering a sharp profile while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Lightweight and easy to layer, this jacket is ideal for transitional seasons and versatile styling.
As with all Double Helix pieces, it is crafted in Japan with exceptional attention to detail, resulting in a garment that combines heritage inspiration with modern refinement.
Fit Notes: The Boxer jacket features broad shoulders, a moderately slim chest, and a tapered waist, creating a strong, structured silhouette that becomes more natural as the leather breaks in. We recommend taking your usual Japanese leather jacket size. If you are not familiar with Japanese sizing, as a reference, a size 42 fits similarly to a Western Large. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting jacket to ensure the ideal fit.
