Buy NowThe Balancer is half zip sweater made from 100% merino wool, drawn from sheep grazing the rugged, high altitude terrain of the Rocky Mountains, a climate harsh enough to produce a fiber that is at once delicate and long wearing. This yarn was engineered to feel virtually itch free and resist pilling, so the garment stays soft and true through seasons of wear.
Knit at a 5 gauge rib for warmth and body, the sweater carries a high neck, single layer collar for a streamlined and clean look. A zippered chest pocket sits neatly into the front. Each panel is joined by hand, a slow, deliberate stitch by stitch process that keeps seams flat and nearly invisible, a craft carried out by one artisan alone in the workshop.
The result is a relaxed, straight cut silhouette that moves easily with the body, finished with an EXCELLA® zip at the neck and chest pocket for a polished touch.
