Using some of Filson's most trusted signature fabrics, combined with the warmest, lightest insulation nature has to offer, this vest is the ultimate tool for keeping your core warm in cold weather. Goose down traps body heat like nothing else. The oil-finished fabrics keep it dry, so it can do its job.
When highly active use demands maximum breathability and freedom of movement, insulating your core with Filson's Down Cruiser Vest is the ideal solution. The goose down that insulates this vest is made up of large, spherical clusters of the soft down of gray geese. Each cluster contains thousands of soft filaments that trap heat.
This is why goose down has been the champion of lightweight warmth for centuries. Filson uses only responsibly sourced goose down, which means that the geese that provide it are treated humanely – never live-plucked or force-fed. All of our goose down is traceable and certified to the RDS (Responsible Down Standard) and processed in bluesign® approved facilities.
The shell of our Down Cruiser Vest is constructed primarily from Cover Cloth, Filson's lightest. Fits true to size Built with oil finish cover and shelter cloths for outstanding water resistance Insulated with responsibly-sourced goose down Trimmed with merino wool on collar Two side-entry hand pockets and two chest pockets; one snap-flap secured and one slotted Zip-front with snap-secure storm flap Interior-chest security pocket
