Buy NowYou'll Be No Monkey's Uncle in These Gold Cufflinks The monkey's fist knot is a common sailing knot, but its unique shape was also incorporated into classic menswear as a cuff link and a stud design. Originally made of silk, we have captured the timeless design of the monkey's first knot in shining rose gold.
Traditionally, silver that is heavily plated with rose gold is referred to as vermeil, and with the thick, protective layer of rose gold we have laid on these cufflinks, they certainly qualify! Yellow gold is a timeless classic, and our deep, rich rose gold will perfectly complement your outfits at any formality level.
A thick plating ensures that the rose gold will not rub off with regular wear and imparts a rich luster that will truly stand the test of time and allows you to enjoy the look and feel of solid gold cufflinks, easily valued at over $2,000, for a fraction of the cost. These cufflinks can be worn with day ensembles or with evening attire and are suitably formal for both Black Tie and White Tie, able to be worn with tailcoat or a tuxedo.
Traditionally, your cufflinks should exactly match your shirt studs, which is why Fort Belvedere carries both items as matching pairs. To ensure the greatest possible versatility when assembling outfits either at home or while traveling, we encourage you to acquire examples of your monkey’s first cufflinks in as many metal lusters as possible, beginning with silver, yellow gold, and rose gold.
To help you in this endeavor, we are happy to offer a steep price break of 16% off if you purchase more than four cufflinks. Questions? If you have questions or need style advice in choosing a pair of cufflinks for yourself or someone else, let us know, we are happy to help.
