Full Count 1141-2 USN Herringbone Seamen’s Trousers Black

About this product

The Fullcount 1141-2 USN Herringbone Seamen's Trousers haven't been in the lineup since 2018, and their return is one of the more exciting things Fullcount has done this season. The fabric is a 100% cotton military herringbone twill woven with 10-count yarn – traditionally associated with U.S. Army workwear, but pulled here into a classic naval trouser silhouette with a 1940s-inspired wide cut and a deep rise that sits and drapes with quiet authority.

The fabric is remarkably supple despite its durability. The herringbone twill lends the cloth a texture and hand feel that standard trousers simply don't have – rugged enough for daily wear, yet retaining the soft touch characteristic of all Fullcount fabrics. The trousers come one-washed to stabilize shrinkage.

The silhouette stays faithful to the proportions of original wartime-era seamen's trousers – relaxed, easy to move in, ideal for layering with chunky boots or worn loose with sneakers. Construction details reflect Fullcount's commitment to period-correct authenticity: vintage-style urea buttons with recessed thread channels stay true to the original spec, while front slash pockets provide real room. A genuinely rare silhouette done exactly right.

Fit Notes: These trousers fit between true to size and slightly small, and are only produced in even-numbered sizes. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend taking your usual size – or sizing up one for a slightly more relaxed fit. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting trousers to ensure the right fit.
