These 13 pairs were made for our friends at Division Road. Somewhere between Sheffield and the shop, the courier lost track of them and sent them back to us. Rather than struggle with a second attempt of international shipping, we're putting them out here.
The ROMA takes its cues from the classic GAT (German Army Trainer) - a simple, functional silhouette with a distinctly understated character.
The upper is Charles F. Stead Waxed Kudu. We've cut it from both sides of the hide with the waxed grain on the outside, and the reverse for the contrast panels, so the two tones come from a single leather. It sits on a Lactae Hevea sole, a natural latex rubber with real give to it.
The ROMA is unlined, it's soft from the first wear and moulds to your foot from there. Handmade in England and resoleable when the time comes, like every pair we make.
