Due to the tight weave of the 8oz sashiko fabric, the shirt also fits slightly trimmer compared to many traditional work shirts. If you plan on washing regularly or prefer a more relaxed fit, we recommend sizing up.
Built from an 8oz indigo dyed Japanese sashiko fabric, The Sashiko Shirt is designed to age with hard wear and develop character over time. Each shirt is cut and sewn in our New Jersey shop with solid brass hardware and built to endure years of wear. The fabric starts stiff out of the box but breaks in beautifully with time, molding to the wearer and fading uniquely with use.
