You have all been asking for a hooded Workhorse and we are finally ready. This is the Heavy Hooded Workhorse V12. Built for the cold. Built for the grind. Made from 19 ounce waxed canvas after finish and lined with our 20 ounce orange wool, this jacket is all muscle. No shortcuts.
No synthetics. Just natural fibers built to take a beating and keep you warm when the work does not slow down. The sleeves are built with our quilted wool insulation, the same heavyweight quilt used in The Deck Jacket, giving you serious warmth without any plastic fill. The hood is finished with leather lace pull strings that break in over time.
A two way zipper, solid brass snaps, and hardware built to last a lifetime complete the build. Designed to move. Built to last. Back gussets give you reach and range without sacrificing warmth or protection. The Workhorse has become the benchmark for American made workwear because it never pretends to be anything else.
Purpose built gear made the way it used to be. Heavy when you pick it up and even heavier when you realize how long it will be in your closet. Twelve versions in, the Workhorse stands apart as true heritage outerwear. Built to be used. Not babied. A hooded Workhorse made for real weather and real work. Waxed canvas and wool working together the way nature intended.
