The Harbour Sweater is a lightweight long-sleeve pullover inspired by early 20th-century dockworker jerseys from the Port of Hamburg. Built for labor in changing conditions, those garments balanced durability with breathability – an approach that carries through here.
Knitted from a cotton and linen blend, the sweater uses a fine 8-gauge construction that makes it ideal for layering or wearing directly against the skin. The fabric feels light yet substantial, offering comfort without excess weight.
Details are kept intentional, with the sleeves being hand-stitched to the body and a raw edge collar – an approach that takes more time but results in a cleaner, more precise finish. Raw edges throughout reference the utilitarian nature of the original garments.
