The Miles – Relaxed Wide Summer Wash Selvedge Denim The Miles is our wide leg fit jean. Designed with a high-rise, a generous hem opening and a clean drape that prioritises movement and comfort without losing structure. The fit is wide through the leg and designed to fall cleanly, keeping its structural shape as the premium fabric naturally eases with wear.

An updated version of our classic Morgans fit, the result is a silhouette that feels relaxed and effortless, while maintaining clean proportions that make it easy to wear day after day. This version is cut from Kaihara selvedge denim, woven by one of Japan’s most respected denim mills.

Founded in 1893, Kaihara has spent decades refining its craft and is recognised around the world for producing premium selvedge denim with exceptional durability and character. Woven from 100% cotton and weighing 15oz, the fabric has a reassuring structure from the first wear. The red line selvedge is a mark of traditional shuttle loom construction, a slower weaving process that creates a stronger, more characterful denim.

Over time, the fabric gradually softens and develops fades unique to the person wearing it, creating a pair of jeans that tells its own story. Every pair of Miles jeans is handcrafted in Aberteifi, Wales by the Grand Masters who make up our small team. By focusing solely on making jeans, we can give careful attention to the details that help them last.

The Miles features an authentic five-pocket construction, a button fly, copper rivets for durability, tough ecru twill pocket linings and our signature red owl rivet on the back pocket. A Hiut Denim leather patch completes the finish, with a vegan option available on request. And because good jeans should stay with you for years, every pair comes with free repairs for life.
