Iron Heart's vintage tapered cut, high rise jeans offer a fit similar to the brand's 888 relaxed tapered cut, but with a slightly looser, more traditional silhouette. In comparison, the 1955s feature a slightly higher rise, a looser leg, and less taper, making them more akin to a vintage relax taper or tapered straight.

Iron Heart's 14oz denim (second version) is made with a double twisted weft yarn (the same construction technique as their 21oz selvedge denim), essentially making them a lighter weight version of the same weave. At 14oz, this is Iron Heart's 'least heavy' Japanese jean denim.
