Reintroducing the forgotten Japanese fabrics from Aomori Prefecture in Northern Japan. This book shows a great collection of antique fabrics and clothing, with intricate embroidery and patchwork. It contains descriptions in Japanese for each of the pieces, and important lessons of the Mottainai philosophy, how every piece of fabric was precious, and would continue to be used.
