This classic green tea is the perfect way to start your day. Made of vibrant spring and summer tea leaves, deep steamed (fukamushi), and finished with high roasting, this tea has a rich aroma with a lingering umami flavor. This tea can withstand multiple steepings and is farmed with sustainable techniques that help enrich the environment.
Founded in 1946 by Zenichi Sugimoto in Shizuoka, Japan, the Sugimoto Tea Company is a third-generation family-owned and run tea manufacture. From the days of Zenichi hand-delivering his tea by bike, the Sugimoto Tea Company has always seen tea as a way of improving people's lives. Today's our mission is to save the Japanese tea industry by sourcing farm-direct and sharing delicious tea with people all around the world, and through these efforts make people's lives richer and healthier.
