The Max Bill line by Junghans are truly iconic timepieces that have remained largely unchanged since their debut in the 1950’s. The eponymous designer and architect was trained in the famous Bauhaus school in Dessau, Germany where he honed an undeniable skill at creating minimal, modern works that manage to be as refreshing today as they were at their inception.
The 8 inch wall clocks are perhaps the purest expression of Max Bill’s vision. Clean white dials with polished hands are housed in brushed aluminum cylinders for a tasteful, minimal appearance. The dials come in two varieties, numerals and lines. The former features an inner track of hour numerals in Max Bill’s iconic typeface, encircled by a thin, graceful index of lines and numerals for the minutes.
The latter simply features solely lightweight lines to indicate the time. Stoic and sophisticated, the Max Bill clocks add refinement and character to any space. Featuring German-made quartz movements, they are highly reliable time-keepers as well. Ships within two to four (2-4) weeks after purchase.
