Buy NowKind Offer works to create a more inclusive world by sharing the beautiful kogin sashiko work created by students at a vocational school in Aomori. Each stitch is a testament to the talent and perseverance of these individuals, providing them with a platform to showcase their skill while gaining valuable independence. We are honored to carry these items, knowing that each one represents a direct contribution to the livelihood and creative fulfillment of an artisan with disabilities.
Kogin Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique that combines geometric patterns with functional needlework, originally developed as a way to reinforce and repair fabric. Each design is hand stitched using a distinctive cross-stitch method that creates bold, symmetrical patterns.
