Buy NowThe Kobashi Studio 5mm Japanese Beads Bracelet is a refined accessory that merges heritage inspiration with meticulous Japanese craftsmanship. Handmade in Tokyo, it reflects the atelier’s philosophy of creating small, meaningful objects built from honest materials and traditional techniques.
At the core of the bracelet is a premium deerskin leather cord, tanned in Japan and cut to a precise 2mm width by skilled craftsmen. Deerskin is prized for its combination of softness and durability, offering a smooth feel against the skin while developing character over time. The leather cord is carefully hand-finished to minimize debris and ensure a clean, comfortable wear.
The bracelet features a balanced composition of 5mm Japanese glass beads and solid brass beads, arranged in a striking antique gold, black, and off-white color combination. The glass beads are produced by a historic Japanese bead manufacturer operating since the 1930s, using traditional techniques that give each bead subtle variations in size and surface. The solid brass center bead (7mm) is precision-machined in Tokyo and engraved with 'Kobashi' in Japanese characters, adding a discreet signature detail.
Designed with a fully adjustable construction, the bracelet can comfortably fit any wrist size. After sliding the brass bead to your desired position, the excess cord can be trimmed and tied at the end for a clean, personalized fit, ensuring the bracelet sits perfectly on the wrist.
Over time, the brass components will develop a natural patina, enriching the tones and giving each piece a unique character shaped by wear.
Each bracelet is delivered in a handmade Japanese pig suede pouch, reflecting Kobashi Studio’s attention to thoughtful presentation and craftsmanship.
Understated yet distinctive, the bracelet embodies a harmonious blend of heritage inspiration, Japanese precision, and timeless material character – an everyday accessory designed to age beautifully with its owner.
