Buy NowCrafted with precision and care, this Japanese belt hook chain combines tradition and modernity. The Fishhook element is skillfully created through sand-casting using top-grade Japanese brass, ensuring remarkable sturdiness and longevity. The chain, woven on a vintage chain-making machine operated by a master craftsman, boasts a snug fit on any belt and offers a practical yet stylish solution for keeping your belongings secure. Its solid brass matte finish and color are meticulously controlled by an independent barrel polishing craftsman family in Saitama, Japan, resulting in a stunning aging process through oxidization after use. The wire-rolled rings selected for this piece are sourced from a specialty wire-rolled ring company founded in 1972 in Tokyo, and the solid brass double ring is produced by a small metal hardware supplier with over 80 years of history in the heart of Tokyo.
Kobashi Studio is a small Japanese Tokyo-based atelier specializing in solid brass accessories of the highest quality and detailing found today. Its founder Junichi Kobashi draws upon completely handcrafted production using vintage machinery and manual processes to create the most special and beautiful brass pieces we have ever seen.
