Buy NowIntroducing the Kobashi Studio handcrafted key hook with a unique twist chain, skillfully woven on a vintage chain-making machine.
This key hook is meticulously crafted from 5mm straight brass rod, made in Japan, and finished with a matte touch. Its solid brass matte finish and color are meticulously controlled by a dedicated barrel polishing craftsman family in Saitama, Japan, resulting in a stunning patina over time.
Designed by a second-generation metal craftsman family, the original solid brass key hook features a curved shape that perfectly complements your style, ideal for belt loops, coin pockets, or belts. The vintage-inspired solid brass chain is expertly woven by a master machine operator using a chain-making machine with over a century of history. The wire-rolled rings are carefully sourced from a specialized wire-rolled ring company founded in 1972 in Tokyo, while the solid brass double ring is produced by a respected metal hardware supplier with over 80 years of experience in Tokyo. Handmade in Japan, this key hook combines tradition with meticulous craftsmanship.
Kobashi Studio is a small Japanese Tokyo-based atelier specializing in solid brass accessories of the highest quality and detailing found today. Its founder Junichi Kobashi draws upon completely handcrafted production using vintage machinery and manual processes to create the most special and beautiful brass pieces we have ever seen.
