Japanese cedar (kitayama sugi) is the hero of this all-natural incense from our pals at Kousaido. The Kyoto-based incense maker recently launched a line of all-natural incense, and this warm, woodsy aroma is the closest you'll get to rolling around on the floor of a Japanese forest.
The scent here is gentle and nuanced, with spicy undertones giving the soft cedar just a little kick. Honestly, burn this guy any time, but we're partial to this one on quiet mornings, in moments of contemplation, and laid out on the sofa reading.
