Sweet, slightly piquant and woodsy, this Japanese incense from our friends at Kousiado has an enlivening quality that puts us in a creative mindset. 'Momiji' means 'autumn leaves,' and the Kousaido team nailed the wistful, romantic feeling of changing seasons. (Note to the heads: Ask the Ages' favorite recording of the jazz standard Autumn Leaves can be found on Canonball Adderly's Somethin' Else.
Shout out to Miles on that muted trumpet!) Use Momiji to activate your space, and yourself, when you're on the come-up and want to perfume the studio, atelier, garret, or wherever else you let your freaky self loose.
