The Keyaki, or Japanese Zelvoka tree, is a multi-threat hardwood used for making furniture, taiko drums, a popular bonsai tree, and the calming, woodsy heart of this exceptional incense. If transforming the crib into a peaceful forest is your aim, look no further. This is a fantastic scent for meditation, in part because it quietly captures your attention without demanding it.
We love the subtle scent and longer burn time, giving your senses a chance to notice the Keyaki, wander from it, and return again. Kousaido makes two other sister scents that we deeply dig. Check out their Hinoki and Kusunoki as well.
