Buy NowThe Levi’s® Vintage Clothing 1955 501® Jeans recreate the definitive post-war 501® silhouette, reflecting the moment when denim shifted from workwear into youth culture. Levi’s® Vintage Clothing faithfully reproduces the fits, fabrics, and details of past eras, drawing directly from the archives and inspired by the hard-working men and women who have worn Levi’s® for over 150 years.
Seasonal collections, legendary reissues, and special editions bring the past to life through timeless, uncompromising garments. A tribute to the ultimate rebels of the 1950s - bikers, the 1955 501® is defined by its distinctive 'Anti-Fit.' The cut is slightly looser through the seat, with a wider leg and a boxier overall silhouette compared to slimmer styles.
Like its 1947 predecessor, this model features belt loops as the sole waist adjustment, hidden copper rivets on the back pockets, and a button fly with zinc buttons, preserving its clean, rugged appearance. A historically precise reproduction that captures the spirit, attitude, and craftsmanship of mid-century American denim.
