LOOP & WEFT Supima Cotton Freedom Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirt Old Ivory

About this product

Blending heritage sweatshirt details with modern Japanese craftsmanship, this short-sleeve tee is made from recycled Supima cotton jersey – a rare, extra-long staple fiber known for its exceptional softness and durability. Spun from fallen cotton fibers ('ochiwata'), the yarn has a subtly irregular texture and is tightly knit on high-gauge machines to produce a fabric that is lightweight, dry to the touch, and soft against the skin. Over time, it gains character and depth without the heaviness of traditional heavyweight tees.

This version features raglan-style freedom sleeves, constructed with vintage 4-needle flat seams, allowing superior mobility and clean, comfortable interior seams. Inspired by 1960s athletic wear, the neckline is finished with a reinforced taped seam, preserving structure and resisting deformation over time.

Additional refined details include ribbed sleeve cuffs and a narrow ribbed hem, all executed with vintage-style sewing techniques like 2- and 3-needle stitching. Finished with a one-wash treatment, this t-shirt is pre-shrunk and softened for a broken-in feel from day one. A staple elevated through careful detail, this tee embodies Loop & Weft’s ethos of 'Best Knitwear' – a pursuit of refined, enduring quality rooted in tradition.

Fit Notes: Like all Loop & Weft tees, this model runs a bit smaller in size compared to your regular American size. If you typically wear a size M in American t-shirts, you'll likely need a size L in this one. However, fit may vary based on body type, so we recommend checking our size chart for the best fit.
