Known as the 'Holy Grail of Military Watches,' the Type A-7 is a legendary pilot’s watch. On October 10, 1934, the U. S. Army Air Corps released Military Specification No. 27748, defining the design and functionality of these 'Avigation' (Aerial Navigation) watches. Built to this spec, the Type A-7 was manufactured by Longines, Gallé (white dial), and Meylan, and was the first pilot’s watch to feature a hacking function.
Its combination of precision, durability, and iconic design has made it a highly prized collector’s piece. - Style: Type A-7 Aviation- Color: White- Material: Steel, leather- 12-hour domestic quartz movement (average monthly difference of 20 seconds - standard)- Stainless steel case- 3 ATM water resistant- Domedmineral glass- Silver oxide battery SR621SW- Case dimensions: 38. 5 (excluding crown) x 42. 8 mm - Total length: 250 mm- Made in Japan
