MERZ B. SCHWANEN 214 2-Thread Heavyweight 7.2oz Crewneck Loopwheeled Relaxed Fit T-Shirt Nature

About this product

Are all T-shirts really the same?

We believe that true classics require well-crafted simplicity – crafted from high-quality materials, featuring thoughtful details, and driven by genuine passion. This round-neck shirt embodies that ethos, serving as a timeless classic for countless memorable moments.

Compared to the classic 215, this T-shirt offers a more relaxed fit, with an extra 6cm of room at the chest for a casual look and feel. Crafted from 100% organic cotton, it's meticulously knitted on rare 100-year-old Loopwheel machines nestled in the Swabian Alps of southwestern Germany, resulting in a unique texture and sensation.

Renowned for its exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail, this T-shirt features authentic 2-count fabric that is both durable and robust. Most Merz tees run a bit smaller in size compared to your regular American size. Typically, if you wear a size M in American t-shirts, you will need to select a size L in the Merz relaxed fit tees or stay true to size if you prefer a slimmer fit. However, individual body types can vary, so, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit.

Please note that this t-shirt is not industrial pre-washed. Please, consider aprox. 3% (2-3cm) shrinkage in lenght after the first wash. However, this shrinkage length is already calculated when cutting the product, and extra length is added. So it may be that the first time you try on the shirt, it seems a little too long. But be sure: after the first wash, it fits perfectly.

Under the slogan 'making basics - simply good basics,' Merz b. Schwanen specializes in creating unique fabrics using rare 100-year-old loopwheel machines in Germany to achieve an authentic vintage appearance. They also use artisan craftsmanship and their extensive experience to develop new styles with contemporary looks and feels. Their garments are essential all year-round, made of high-quality and sustainable materials suitable for any mood or look.
