Shwanen's unique cotton jersey fabrics are woven on loopwheelers, very rare vintage circular knitting machines that are nearly 100 years old. These machines knit fabrics at zero-tension, which grants the fabrics a great deal of softness, thickness, comfort, and give. Simply put, loopwheeled cottons tend feel better and hold up better relative to fabrics woven on more modern machines, and amongst loopwheeled tees, Merz offers some of the very best.
