MOMOTARO JEANS 0405-12SP Going To Battle 12oz High Tapered Jeans

About this product

Compared to the heavier Momotaro denim fabrics, the 12oz denim is lighter and more breathable, making it an excellent choice for everyday wear in milder climates. Despite its lighter weight, the denim is still robust enough to withstand regular use and offers a smooth texture that feels comfortable against the skin. The fabric is meticulously crafted using only long-staple Zimbabwean cotton and is woven on traditional shuttle looms, giving it a truly authentic and traditional feel.

The 0405-12 jeans feature a high-tapered fit with a roomier thigh area that tapers down to a narrower leg opening. This cut is particularly favored by those seeking a contemporary and streamlined appearance without compromising on comfort.

These jeans boast exceptional details, including the iconic 'going to battle' stripes on the back pocket, custom-engraved iron buttons, a custom-branded natural leather patch, and Momotaro's signature pink selvedge and inseam, paying homage to the peach fruit in the legendary Momotaro folktale.

These jeans have a standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. The fabric is sanforized, so there will be no shrinkage. Some people might even go for a smaller size than usual, but only those with very thin legs. The waist will experience the typical stretching seen in sanforized denim. Expect approximately 0.5 to 1 inch of stretching
