MOMOTARO JEANS MMJZ0103 13.7oz #100 "Cashmere" Straight Jeans

About this product

The Momotaro MMJZ0103 #100 'Cashmere' Straight Jeans combine heritage denim craftsmanship with an unexpected sense of luxury. Woven in Kojima from a 35% cashmere and 65% organic Zimbabwe cotton blend, this 13.7oz selvedge denim delivers a level of softness rarely found in premium jeans – structured enough for everyday wear, yet remarkably smooth against the skin.

The fabric is built around finer cashmere-infused weft threads, creating a polished, elegant surface on the interior while the face retains the depth and richness of Tokuno Blue indigo rope dyeing. The cashmere backing rests directly against the skin, offering a luxury-smooth feel that sets these jeans apart from conventional denim. Cashmere's natural breathability and insulating properties also make the fabric surprisingly versatile – warm in cooler months, airy and comfortable in warmer conditions.

The #100 fit is widely regarded as one of Momotaro's most balanced silhouettes, developed during the brand's recent rebranding. Cut with a high rise and generous room through the thighs, the leg runs clean and almost straight with minimal taper from the knee down – a versatile, timeless profile that works equally well with boots or sneakers.

Details reflect Momotaro's commitment to refined, high-end construction. The jeans feature a lined waistband to prevent indigo transfer when tucking in a shirt, flush-set rivets that won't scratch phones or surfaces, a custom zip fly, larger coin pocket, hidden back rivets, heavy-duty canvas pocket bags, and chainstitched hems. The signature peach selvedge line runs along the outseam, and an indigo-dyed cowhide leather patch completes the package.

Fit Notes: These jeans fit true to size. Compared to most global American brands, a size 31 fits similarly to a standard 31. We recommend taking your usual size for a comfortable fit. The fabric is sanforized, so shrinkage will be minimal. The waist will experience the typical stretching seen in sanforized denim – expect…
